WELCOME TO
Armenia, Colombia!
🇨🇴
A Journey Like No Other
This land is rich, expansive, beautiful, and strong. It is a land blessed by God, and it is my honor to welcome you here and protect this experience as something truly unique. Our camp will be divided into two currents: the Song Camp and the Touristic Wave, offering a blend of creativity and exploration that will showcase the most memorable and picturesque experiences Armenia has to offer.
Monday:
We’ll explore El Parque del Café, a nearby theme park brimming with attractions, from 10 am to 4:30 pm tomorrow. While there, you’ll find various restaurants to grab a bite, but I recommend starting the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel around 8:30-9 AM, maybe taking some snacks along, and returning for an early dinner. After some rest, we’ll begin with Day 1 of our Song Camp in the evening.
Tuesday:
On Tuesday, breakfast will be served between 8:30 and 9:30 am, and at 10 am we will visit Cocora, home to the world’s tallest palm trees and the majestic Andean Condor. Here, you can hike, ride on horseback, or relax, have a coffee, and take in the breathtaking views. After our time in Cocora, we’ll stop by Salento, another iconic destination in Quindio, where we’ll enjoy lunch before returning to the hotel to kick off Day 2 of our Song Camp.
Wednesday:
We’ll spend the day at the hotel on Wednesday for Day 3 of our Song Camp, enjoying breakfast and lunch on-site. At 4:30 pm, we’ll head to Casa Buho, a hidden gem in Armenia. Please be ready by 4:15 pm, and remember to wrap up and save all sessions by 3:45 pm.
Thursday:
Thursday will mirror Wednesday’s schedule but with a special twist. At 4:30 pm, we’ll depart for Buenavista, one of the highest mountain points in el Quindio. At San Alberto’s, we’ll partake in a coffee experience, specially prepared for us, and create a space for honest testimonies about our journey so far. Afterward, we’ll ascend further up the mountain for dinner at one of Quindio’s finest restaurants. Please dress nicely—nothing formal, but presentable.
Friday:
Friday will be a day to remember. We’ll begin with breakfast and continue our songwriting sessions, pausing at 11:45 am to save our progress. At 12:30 pm, we’ll break for lunch at Anónima Cocina, a modern restaurant that elevates classic Colombian dishes with a touch of brilliance. The chef will guide us through a curated menu crafted just for us. After lunch, we’ll return to the hotel to wrap up any final work on our songs and begin packing for our departure the following day.

Songwriting Camp
Our goal for this songwriting camp is to create music that embodies a playful, joyful, and energetic vibe, perfect for dance-oriented tracks. We aim to produce songs that uplift, inspire, and make people want to move. Your task is to craft lyrics and melodies that are lively and infectious while staying true to the themes of positivity and fun.
Guidelines:
Tone and Theme: The music and lyrics should exude energy, joy, and playfulness. Think of tracks that would get people up and dancing, filled with upbeat rhythms and catchy hooks.
Content Restrictions:
No Explicit Content: The songs should be free of any explicit language.
Avoid Sexual or Hyper-Sexual Themes: Keep the lyrics and themes light, fun, and appropriate for all audiences.
No References to Drugs or Violence: The focus should be on creating feel-good music without any mention of drugs or violent themes.
Song Length: Each song must be at least three minutes long.
Content Provided:
Writing Folder: This folder contains over 25 instrumentals that are at least 80% complete. These tracks are nearly production-ready, so your focus will be on finishing touches and crafting lyrics that align with the instrumental's mood and energy.
teams of 2-3
Production Folder: This folder also contains over 25 tracks, but these are around 50% complete. You’ll have more creative freedom here, both in terms of finishing the production and writing lyrics. Consider these as rough drafts that need your creative input to reach their full potential.
teams of 2-3
Expectations:
Collaboration: While you will be working on individual tracks, collaboration is encouraged. Share ideas, give feedback, and help each other refine your work. Aim for teams of 2-3.
Creativity: Push the boundaries of what joyful, playful, feel-good music can be. Experiment with different rhythms, melodies, and lyrical themes that align with our vision.
Final Output: Writers can collaborate with producers to finalize vocals and complete tracks from the instrumental catalog. Producers and writers can also focus on creating 16-bar loops (final chorus stack) efficiently building a new catalog.
Split Arrangement:
Revenue Distribution: XPNZV Records will retain 33% of the rights to each track produced during the camp. The remaining 67% will be allocated to the artists working on those tracks.
Purpose of XPNZV’s Share: The 33% retained by XPNZV Records will cover the costs associated with the camp, executive production, mixing, mastering, and the movement of the song, whether for pitch, placement, or sale.
The Dream
The ultimate dream is to leave the camp with a new collection of dance-ready, energetic tracks that reflect the spirit of life, joy, and movement. These songs should be ready to take into the final stages of production and ultimately, out into the world.
Creating music that moves people—both literally and figuratively!
I have read, understood, and accept to participate in the incredible week ahead of us.
